The official KDM Office opening was attended by a number of customers, suppliers and local businessmen. One of KDM's largest
Russian timber suppliers led the toasts in Russian with a goodwill message to everyone. He was joined by
other visitors who had travelled from Sweden, Latvia, Poland, Ireland and all parts of the UK.
Mr Bill Wright, the Major of Ipswich officially opened KDM's new £1.35 million HQ in Ipswich by
cutting the ribbon on Friday 24th June 2005.

KDM achieved Pre tax profits £575,482 , turnover of £15.1 million and net assets £3 million, the company redeemed its Preference Shares 5 years early at a cost of £846,375. |

KDM launched BT Global WoodTrader, a joint venture between KDM and British Telecom Plc to trade timber over the Internet. |

The Company became involved with the Internet and successfully developed, demerged and floated an Internet Services Division called COUNTYWeb on AIM raising £5.6 million new capital. This business was eventually sold in 2003. |
