Merchant Sector

KDM are very active in the Merchant/Importer sector and, as well as having well established supply lines in Scandinavia and the Baltic States, have two offices in Russia, one in St. Petersburg and another in the Karelian Republic employing 2 local timber experts in the sourcing and supply of materials for the Merchant/Importer sector as well as materials for the Shed, Garden and Pallet/Packaging sectors.
 
Merchant/Importer Supply from Scandinavia
 
KDM import from Scandinavia sawn K.D Redwood and Whitewood in both Joinery/Planing quality, good VI (K.D Heat treated) and Slatings as well as planed/profiled products such as Floorings, CLS, Scant, Shelvings, Decking, Shiplap/PTGVJ1S/Loglap and Framing.
 
These materials can be supplied either on a forward/to arrive basis in full loads shipped breakbulk or delivered direct from the mill by trailer to the customer upon arrival.
 
A small landed stock is also held of most of these products at various East Coast Ports and these can be purchased in part loads on a delivered or Free on Motor basis.
 
Merchant/Importer Supply from Russia
 
KDM import from Russia sawn K.D Redwood and Whitewood (Whitewood Boards up to 225mm wide) in both Joinery/Planing quality and good V (K.D Heat treated) as well as planed/profiled products such as Floorings, Scant, Shelvings, Decking, Shiplap/PTGVJ1S/Loglap and Framing.
 
Also large volumes of Unseasoned Carcassing in sections from 22 x 75 up to 100 x 300 and even 300 x 300 - lengths 2.4-7.2m as well as 22 x 100 Bracing.
 
These materials can be supplied either on a forward/to arrive basis in full loads shipped breakbulk and delivered ex quay on arrival or direct from the mill by trailer to the customer upon arrival.
 
A landed stock is also held of most of these products at Humber Ports and some at Harwich and these can be purchased in part loads on a delivered or Free on Motor basis.
 
Merchant/Importer Supply from the Baltic States
 
KDM import sawn and planed/profiled products from the Baltic States.
 
Main items from the Baltic States for the Merchant/Importer Sector are Unseasoned Carcassing in sections from 22 x 75 up to 100 x 300 - lengths 2.4-6.0m, some CCO Green treated Slatings, Truss bracing and Fencing materials such as Featheredge, Waney-edged boards, Posts, rails, Battens and kickboards.
 
These materials can be supplied on a forward/to arrive basis in full loads and delivered direct ex quay on arrival.
 
A landed stock is also held of many of these products at several East Coast Ports and these can be purchased in part loads on a delivered or Free on Motor basis.
