KDM are active in the Merchant/Importer sector, having well established supply lines in Scandinavia, the Baltic States and Russia.

Our two Russian employees, based in St. Petersburg and the Karelian Republic, are sourcing both sawn and planed/profiled timber as well as materials for the Shed, Garden, Pallet & ISPM Packaging Sectors.


Merchant / Importer Supply from Scandinavia

KDM import from Scandinavia, Kiln Dried Redwood and Whitewood in Joinery & Planing qualities plus large volumes of good VI quality (Kiln Dried, Heat treated C56/30 to ISPM15). Planed & profiled products would include Carcassing, CLS, Scant, Decking, Shiplap / PTGVJ1S / Loglap and Framing, as well as Slatings / Battens.

These Materials can be supplied either from landed stock or on a forward / to arrive basis in full loads shipped breakbulk or delivered direct from the sawmill by trailer to the customer upon arrival.


Merchant / Importer Supply from Russia

KDM import from Russia, Kiln Dried Redwood and Whitewood (Whitewood Boards up to 225mm wide) in both Joinery & Planing qualities and good V/VI (Kiln Dried, Heat treated C56/30 to ISPM15), as well as planed & profiled products such as Decking, Shiplap / PTGVJ1S / Loglap and Framing.

A landed stock is also held of many of these products at the Ports of Rochester & Harwich and these can be purchased in full or part loads on a delivered or Free on Motor basis. All goods stored under cover.


Merchant / Importer Supply from the Baltic States

KDM import Sawn, planed & profiled products from the Baltic States.

Main items from the Baltic States for the Merchant / Importer Sector are Fencing materials such as Machine Rounds, Cundys, Featheredge, Waney-edged boards, Posts, Rails, Battens and kickboards as well as Green Pressure treated Slatings. Kiln dried C16/24 Sawn & Planed Carcassing and CLS also available.
